General Writing and Interviews

I love writing features and I've written many over the years about many different topics and for very diverse publications from my local newspaper to Mail and from Loving (now defunct) to Best. I've written the sensible, the humorous and the downright silly. a few of which are listed below.

For example:
Researching Your Family Tree. Sensible.
Focus On Women's Safety. Serious.
How To Know and Go when it's Over. Humorous.
What His Sex Style Says About Him. Silly.

I've also written lots of short stories, again for a cross section of publications including Candis, Bella and the Daily Express. I love short stories because they have to be short and sharp with no waffling! They're fun to write, especially the 'twist in the tail' stories.

A couple of my short stories have been donated for inclusion in charity compilations:

Sexy Shorts for Christmas
Sexy Shorts for The Beach (both published by Accent Press)

I've also contributed to several non-fiction books including:
wannabee a writer? by Jane Wenham Jones (Accent Press)
Love Writing - How to Make Money Writing Romantic or Erotic Fiction by Sue Moorcroft (Accent Press)
Novel and Short Story Writers Market

Interviews are fun because I get to meet such an exciting and varied mix of people who have made their mark for all sorts of reasons. Am I nosey? I have been asked that one often…, not really, I just like learning about people and how they do what they do, they don't have to be well known or high achievers, just interesting!

'I did a series of interviews with authors for a popular women's magazine as well as talking to:
A Wing Walker on a bi-plane
The (female) Director of A Sex Education Video
A woman who killed her abusive husband.
A Nigerian Mother Drug Smuggler.

The other project I did that I hope won't come back to haunt me now was BOOK REVIEWS. The good old favourites of 'Summer Beachbusters', 'Christmas Giving and Receiving' along with 'Romantic Titles for Valentine's Day'.

I have always worked on the principle that if I can't be positive about a book then I don't write about it. To my taste or not, someone, somewhere had taken the time to write it and it's not for me to pull it to pieces.

Oh that they are as kind to me!!
